MANUAL THERAPY

Hands on Treatment

Even as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness/ Yoga Instructor, I was hands on. My hands were my tools for tactile cueing- tapping between my client’s shoulder blades when they were doing a row to improve muscle engagement. My hands were my instrument to assists students into a deeper expression of a yoga pose, so they could further explore their bodies.

As a Physiotherapist, my hands give me so much information of what is happening within your bodies. Education and therapeutic exercises will always be part of my appointments, but sometimes we need a little extra touch to “jumpstart” our recovery.

Joint and soft tissue mobilizations, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Techniques and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation may be part of your treatment plan. Lot’s of words just to let you know that, I am probably going to poke you to help you.
